Housing + landing planning

Learn enough to choose your next housing step.

A free decision-first guide for United States ↔ Thailand moves. It helps you organize what to research before renting or buying, what to inspect on arrival, and what to track in the first 30 days—without presenting local market claims or personalized professional advice.

Build a route-aware housing plan

01 · Before search

Write a brief, not a wish list.

  • Name your target area or city, household needs, budget comfort, furnishing preference, daily routine, and deal-breakers.
  • Keep an origin-home research track separate from the destination decision; MoveBridge does not advise on property, financing, tax, insurance, or investments.
  • Choose whether a temporary stay gives you time to learn locally before committing.

02 · Shortlist & remote due diligence

Compare only what you can verify.

  • Ask for the exact address or building, full recurring costs, deposit or upfront-payment questions, utilities, connectivity, commute or routine fit, and viewing arrangements.
  • Use one comparison sheet for every rental: payment schedule, furnishing, condition, maintenance contact, building rules, access, and exit or renewal questions.
  • Verify the listing, person, payment recipient, and written terms independently. Pressure, screenshots, or urgency are not verification.

03 · First arrival

Inspect before you settle.

  • Keep a safe first-night plan and a temporary-housing bridge where possible; travel day is a poor time for an irreversible decision.
  • At an in-person viewing, note condition, cooling, water pressure, noise, mobile signal, internet options, access, appliances, furnishings, and maintenance questions.
  • Organize identification, listing details, inspection notes, reservation records, and payment questions in one folder.

04 · Lease / purchase readiness

Slow down before money or signatures.

  • For a lease, research the written terms, full payment schedule, deposit-return questions, condition inventory, renewal or exit provisions, and the person receiving payment.
  • For a purchase, collect questions about the local professional, ownership, inspections, financing, closing costs, and due diligence that apply to your facts.
  • Use qualified local professionals for contracts, transactions, finance, tax, legal, insurance, and real-estate decisions.

05 · First 30 days

Test the routine before making the next choice.

  • Track utilities, connectivity, building access, transport or commute testing, payment records, maintenance contacts, and household routines.
  • Revisit the housing brief after you have local context. A short-term landing choice can create space for a more informed longer-term decision.

Route context

Thailand-bound, U.S.-bound, and Las Vegas moves.

Thailand-bound planning can use BAANLYY as an optional first-party housing and relocation context source after you have a brief. Las Vegas / Southern Nevada planning can use Scofield Group as an optional first-party local pathway. Other U.S. destinations should be researched through applicable local official or primary sources and in-person checks.

Verify before you pay.

Do not treat a listing, message, photo, or deadline as proof. Independently verify identity, property or building details, payment instructions, viewing access, and written terms. MoveBridge does not assess fraud, contracts, title, condition, pricing, lending, or suitability.
