Methodology

A practical planner with visible limits.

MoveBridge is designed to organize a U.S. ↔ Thailand move before you decide whether to contact local support. It is not a publisher of official requirements, property market data, or personalized professional advice.

1. Start with first-party expertise

BAANLYY is the preferred first-party pathway for Thailand property and relocation context. Scofield Group is the preferred first-party pathway for Las Vegas and Southern Nevada real-estate context.

2. Preserve both route intents

A Las Vegas ↔ Thailand plan can show both relevant pathways together. The planner does not force a separate intake for each side of the move.

3. Prefer official sources for requirements

Entry, visa, and pet-travel orientation uses visible links to reviewed official agency or government sources wherever practical. Pet-entry guidance distinguishes the U.S. → Thailand and Thailand → U.S. direction, labels carrier or location gaps, and directs readers back to the live source before acting.

4. Cite contextually

Source cards appear alongside factual or requirements-oriented guide content and partner-specific support. Each card names the organization, geography, topic, retrieval status, and exact public source link.

5. Transform, do not republish

MoveBridge converts sources into independent planning structure. It does not copy source prose, manufacture facts, or treat a partner page as a substitute for official advice.

6. Track referrals without surveillance

Outbound referral records capture route, page/tool, CTA, destination brand, destination URL, and available campaign parameters. They do not store contact details, full referrers, IP addresses, or assert that a click became a conversion.

7. Keep family and pet boundaries clear

Family-and-pet tools organize readiness, document, housing, caregiving, and travel-day questions. They do not determine an animal’s eligibility, provide veterinary or legal advice, or present a housing partner as an import authority.

8. Let visitors set the planning order

The optional priorities step can elevate decision-relevant actions such as entry planning, family, pets, housing, work, documents, timing, and settling in. It never removes route essentials or turns the roadmap into personalized professional advice.

9. Separate work and retirement preparation from entry decisions

Work, payroll, tax, credential, benefits, retirement, estate, insurance, and employment prompts are a distinct planning lane. MoveBridge does not decide work authorization, tax residency, benefit eligibility, coverage, professional licensing, or investment choices; users are directed to their employer, official authority, insurer, tax adviser, attorney, or other licensed professional as appropriate.

10. Use official sources for high-stakes continuity questions

The work-and-retirement layer links directly to reviewed first-party sources for U.S. Social Security payment continuity questions and Medicare travel coverage orientation. It labels individual outcomes as unresolved until verified with the relevant program, insurer, employer, or qualified professional. Review date: October 3, 2026.

11. Keep housing planning decision-first

The housing and landing layer organizes a brief, comparison, temporary-housing, inspection, utilities, connectivity, commute, document, deposit, closing-cost, and verify-before-you-pay research sequence. It does not publish market facts, neighborhood claims, availability, contract terms, ownership outcomes, fraud determinations, or personalized real-estate advice.

12. Disclose optional housing pathways

BAANLYY appears only for Thailand-bound housing context, and Scofield Group appears only for Las Vegas / Southern Nevada context. They are clearly labeled first-party pathways after planning value, link out only when a visitor chooses, and do not automatically transfer a visitor’s contact information. Housing and landing source scope reviewed October 3, 2026.

13. Treat settling-in as preparation, not a determination

The essential-services layer organizes pre-departure, travel-week, first-72-hours, first-30-days, and 30–90-day research prompts for communications, transport, driving, payment, banking, insurance, healthcare, utilities, records, and community routines. It does not determine access, eligibility, pricing, account outcomes, coverage, medical care, driving status, school placement, tax treatment, or service availability. Settling-in source scope reviewed October 3, 2026.

14. Keep move execution decision-first

The move execution and logistics layer organizes inventory, decluttering, luggage and shipping research, storage, origin-home closeout, travel-day document and device preparation, address and records continuity, arrival essentials, and post-arrival follow-through. It does not determine baggage, shipping, customs, vehicle, insurance, transportation, legal, tax, immigration, medical, or financial outcomes.

15. Link official sources without restating requirements

TSA, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and Thai Customs are reviewed as primary official starting points for packing, travel, personal-effects, and declaration research. The planner labels them as links for current verification rather than publishing route requirements. Freshness and scope reviewed October 3, 2026.

16. Keep referrals contextual and optional

The logistics layer does not alter BAANLYY or Scofield Group routing. Those housing-context pathways remain secondary to substantive neutral planning content, are clearly disclosed, and do not receive visitor information unless a visitor separately chooses a supported contact path.

Data limitation

When a claim, market figure, requirement, or update cannot be supported by a reviewed source, MoveBridge treats it as Insufficient verified data. Check official agencies and qualified professionals for decisions with legal, immigration, tax, medical, or financial consequences.
